Scrolls Five and Six: Sven and Bjorn

These scrolls were done as a pair. The recipients were a married couple who had run an event together, so I designed the scrolls to be hung together.

Note: Consider very carefully whether to do this if the opportunity presents itself. Relationships change.

That Moot Thingy has a long running story about two brothers, Sven and Bjorn, who are sent off to slay a new fantastical beast each year for the event’s main feast. As luck would have it, I had taken photos of the tapestries hung about the hall commemorating their misadventures, so I had the perfect inspiration when the assignment was given.
