So I woke up this morning dreaming about two things: the new forum I had just spent the past 4 days setting up and accidentally deleted last night (true) had magically been restored by my awesome hosting company (turns out they couldn’t, *cry*)… and trying out for the Chinese circus. I wasn’t bad, either. I remember doing a backflip from a crouched position and not landing on my head. I think I landed on my forearms.
As for the forum, it was still pretty new and I was able to reconstruct most of it within a couple of hours this morning. I’ll do the rest when I return from the Ojai Pirate Fair!

I finally got the photos for my sister’s yoga website from her awesome photographer. She’s all bendy and stuff. Man, I wish she lived closer so she could teach me to be bendy like that.
I’m working on another new site related to belly dancing, but that’s all I’m going to say about it until I’m ready to make it live. Soon, I hope.
Ooh, ooh! I almost forgot. Anen finished my gypsy outfit in record time and it’s gooooourgeous! I’ll post a picture soon, but I have to eat and go to bed.

In the immortal words of comedian Bill Engvall, “I’m a dorkfish.”
Last night I booked non-refundable, unalterable (unless I want to pay the exorbitant change fees — which means unalterable) plane tickets to San Francisco for a weekend in October… and I forgot to schedule the outbound flight to arrive in the morning so I could go to a belly dance class with my favorite dancer while I was up there. Curses! Foiled again by my need to sleep in until noon whenever possible. My only consolation is that she won’t be teaching that weekend anyway. There’s another studio teaching that weekend that would have been a great alternative, except that I’m a dork and forgot until it was too late.
Sigh. It’s a good thing the main reason I’m going is to see an old friend. It helps me feel like less of a dork. Did I mention the part about me being a dork?
